Carols from medieval times to present; seasonal music both traditional and contemporary; Christian, Pagan, and the secular combine to give the broadest celebration of this special time of year. This ensemble features two gentlemen familiar to regular visitors to Mellor Brook folk concerts: Barry Coope and Lester Simpson who, as two-thirds of Coope, Boyes and Simpson, have graced our stage on 4 occasions before. This time they are bringing their instruments as well as 2 other fine musicians, saxophonist – singer Jo Freya and her sister, violinist – singer, Fi Fraser.
