A musical based on the life of this region’s greatest singer, Kathleen Ferrier. Born only 6 miles away from the Community Centre in Walton-le-Dale, she won the hearts of a nation before succumbing to breast cancer at the age of 41. Lucy Stevens narrates and sings her way through an 80-minute performance based on the singer’s life drawing from her wide repertoire of opera, popular ballads of the day and traditional folk song
