Concert by Mellor Brook’s Ukulele Group

Mellor Brook Ukulele Group meet each Thursday evening at Mellor Brook Community Centre where they learn and play a wide repertoire of popular hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s including Donovan, Herman’s Hermits, Carol King, Yazoo, Lindisfarne and Johnny Cash. They expect to field over a dozen members for this performance. One of their number, Corrine, having had to call upon the services of the NW Air Ambulance, wanted to show appreciation by raising some funds for this publicly funded charity.  The show begins with a 20-minute presentation about the work of the NW Air Ambulance Service. This will include the screening of a video recording. There will also be a short performance by a youth ukulele group from Mellor and, at the conclusion of the show, tea/coffee and homemade cakes will be served.

Tickets @ £5 available

All proceeds to the North West Air Ambulance charity.
