Allison Lupton hails from rural Ontario where she began playing for community dances before graduating to orchestras. She has won her province’s principal song-writing award, “Songs from The Heart” and received Canadian Folk Music Award nominations.  Allison is touring her 4th album Words of Love (“a delicious mixture of folk, bluegrass and country” – Living Tradition Magazine) and will be joined by Canadian and US Grand National fiddle champion Shane Cook and Canadian Folk Music Award Solo Instrumental Artist of the Year and Canadian Grand Master Step Dance champion, Kyle Waymouth. There will be a mix of beautiful story songs, electrifying fiddle tunes and dazzling step dance. The repertoire will include some of Allison’s original songs which reinforce the historical connections between Canada and the UK.
